Find out: How to choose ski goggles?
4F ski goggles - essential eye protection on the slope multi-colored coating and S3 filter
Darkening lenses with S3 filter (light transmittance: 8-18%) provide very good protection from the sun. They are ideal for use on days with strong sunlight. Equipped with a full UV400 protection filter, they protect against ultraviolet radiation (UVA, UVB, UVC).
Additionally, the Anti-Scratch anti-scratch coating on the outside of the lenses protects against scratches. Moreover, the Anti-Fog anti-fog coating reduces fogging of the lenses during temperature changes.
The lenses have been covered with a multi-colored Gradient Color Coating, which provides additional sun protection by reducing the amount of light transmitted to the eyes.
Details ensuring comfortable use
Children's ski goggles have cylindrical lenses, in which the line of image curvature runs spherically from left to right, across the eyes and face. However, the surface of the lens itself is vertically flat. They have similar properties to spherical lenses, but can cause more reflections and limit peripheral vision.
Moreover, they have a wide, elastic, adjustable strap with silicone anti-slip elements that keep the goggles in the right position.
They are also equipped with a three-layer, velour foam on the inside of the goggles, which adapts to the contours of the face, providing tight protection against wind and snow.
The ventilation holes in the frame are covered with a thin layer of lining, ensuring free air circulation between the goggles and the face.
In addition, the size of the goggles allows them to be used with prescription glasses. Additionally, a cloth for wiping the lenses is included with the goggles. The goggles comply with the European Standard for personal protective equipment.
