The diversity and characteristics of hiking required the application of a range of solutions that will work in changing terrain and climatic conditions. The combination of advanced technologies increases effectiveness in protection against cold and moisture at every stage of the expedition.
Thanks to wind-resistant fabrics and membranes protecting against moisture, the trekking jacket will be suitable for both long-distance hikes or one-day hiking or backpacking.
Lightweight construction makes it wearable in warmer days. It has a regular fit, which comfortably adapts to the silhouette and a standard length reaching the hip line.
The jacket can be used alone as a waterproof outer hardshell layer or in combination with clothing serving an insulating function, e.g., with a thin down jacket or thermal underwear.
The 4F men's trekking jacket is equipped with a NeoDry membrane with a parameter of 15000/10000, which is resistant to harsh weather conditions, heavy rain and snow, and strong wind.
Versatility at every stage of the hike: hydrophobic coating, taped seams, and lightness
Hydrophobic impregnating coating covers the outer layer of the material and protects it from water absorption. The coating causes moisture to bead on the surface of the fabric or knit, then freely flows off it.
All seams are taped, which means that each seam is sealed with a special protective tape that prevents water from penetrating the seams.
2.5-layer lamination technology is a special method of combining several layers of material, which creates a durable and strong surface, while being extremely lightweight. The composite with a waterproof membrane protects the jacket from rain and moisture. The material does not need an additional lining because the membrane is protected by a carbonate print with various patterns.
Lightweight construction allows for quick and easy folding of the jacket when it is no longer needed.
Reliable solutions: hood and practical pockets
Men's trekking jacket with a membrane is equipped with an integrated hood with volume adjustment and a shaped visor. The neck is covered by a high collar, which additionally protects against cold and wind.
The sleeves are finished with cuffs with velcro adjustment. Under the arms, there is ventilation fastened with a one-way zipper covered by a flap, which allows for air flow regulation. Raglan sleeves do not restrict movement.
On the sides, there are 2 zippered pockets. The men's trekking jacket is fastened with a two-way main zipper with an internal and external wind flap, which limits the penetration of cold into the jacket's interior.
The circumference of the bottom can be adjusted using a tunnel drawstring with stoppers.
